What are degrees of comparison?
An adjective of quality changes its form when it's used to compare one noun to another. This is called degrees of comparison of an adjective.
There are three degrees of comparison:
The positive degree - is used to refer to one person, object or place without making any comparison.
The comparative degree - is used to compare two people, objects or places.
The superlative degree - is used to compare more than two people, objects or places.
